Videography

A predominant amount of my videography work featured is with musicians, as you can see. That being said, my main focus with videography is to deliver a clean, beautiful, and true-to-vision product. Whether it’s creative, or more technical, I’m always ready and game to collaborate on something visual!

That includes my work on the short documentary featured below, as well as my extensive work as a social media videographer on the Aristides Guitars instagram page.

Live Music Performance

The local Den Haag band Mirror Matter hired me to record two live performances of their music for them recently. It was a vibey, dark-folk project that was tons of fun to collaborate on! I handled shooting, editing and grading.

Epic Guitar Playthrough

“Emperor” is a legendary black metal band, and when Ihsahn came by the Aristides factory last year I was tasked with filming him playing a classic song. This was a personal pleasure to work on. Shot, edited and graded by me.

Documentary

Aristides Guitars hired me to create a documentary-length factory tour video for their company. I shot, edited, and colour graded the entire thing in just under one week of time. Extensive B-roll, as well as a lot of planning and tweaking was required, and the end result is a well-paced, clear and cohesive tour documentary.

Music Playthrough

“Colossal” is a local Dutch metal band based in the Hague / Germany and they asked me to film this performance video in which I shot, edited and color graded the footage.

Music Video Shoot

As a long-time musician as well as photographer I’m no stranger to collaboration. While Delain was in Vancouver, I was hired to shoot some raw footage for their labels video editor to cut together into this music video. The result is a dynamic, live and energetic video that went on to get over 700k views!

Solo Playthrough

While in the Netherlands for an extended trip, I shot and edited this playthrough video for the legendary Timo Somers (Charlotte Wessels, ex-Delain)
